The Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) said recorded 10 oil bunkering incidents in the Eastern Niger Delta since production was shut down at Imo River in August.

Mr Tony Okonedo, the Corporate Media Relations Manager of Shell, said this on Wednesday in a statement.

Okonedo said that the company had lifted the force majeure on Forcados export programme with effect from noon on Nov. 1 following the completion of work on the Trans Forcados pipeline.

The force majeure was declared on Forcados loadings on Oct. 10 for October, November and December cargoes due to attacks on the Forcados pipeline.

He said that the sabotage had severely impacted on the environment.

"Some of the latest incidents are on the Okordia-Rumuekpetrunk line, Imo River-Ogaletrunk line and Buguma- Alakiri trunk line.

"Four separate incidents were reported on the sections of the Obigbo North delivery line at Komkom and Ogale,''he said.
