ALL operatives of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) have been charged to be ready to work to change the negative perception already created about it with the public.
The Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the commission, Mrs. Osato Iyasere Arenyeka, who gave the charge at the maiden meeting with the members of staff on Friday, said all must work to convince the public that the NDDC is a commission that is credible, reliable and capable of delivering its mandate of developing the region.
She said the era of seeing the commission as a place where nothing works must be corrected henceforth, adding “the task of changing this erroneous impression rests squarely on all of us.”
