Profile of Acting Managing Director and CEO of NDDC - Osatohamwen Iyasere-Arenyeka



Formerly,
Director of Administration and Human Resources (DAHR):
the eighth child of 10 born to the Iyase of Uselu, in Benin, started her primary education at St. Luke’s Demonstration School, Jos but had to move Holy Trinity School, Kano when her father a producer officer was transferred to Kano.
Osato, as she is popularly called, was admitted to St Catherine’s Girls’ Grammar School, Owo in 1966. She proceeded to Edo College and Institute of Continuing Education both in Benin for her Higher School Certificate and graduated with the best result in arts in 1974. Thereafter, she attended University of Ibadan and earned a Bachelor of Science, Sociology degree in 1978 and a Master’s degree, Urban & Regional Planning in 1986. In 1991 she got a Dutch fellowship to study Housing Policy and Human Settlements at the Institute of Housing & Urban Studies, Rotterdam, Holland....
