GOVERNOR Rochas Okorocha has nominated three new commissioners and appointed two deputy Chiefs of Staff and five more special advisers into his cabinet.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Owerri, the commissioners are Dr. Obinna Duruji, Information, Culture and Tourism; Prof. Obasi Ada-Obi, commissioner for Education; and Dr. Nwachukwu Ifeanyi, commissioner for Public Utilities and Rural Development.
Others are Mr. Uche Nwosu, deputy Chief of Staff (Operations), Governor’s Office; Steve Dike, deputy Chief of Staff (Administration) Deputy Governor’s Office; and Okey Dike, Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Service and Local Government Reforms.
