Freezing of State Accounts: AGF slams Okorocha, Ajimobi

The attorney general of the federation and minister of justice, Mr Mohammed
Bello Adoke, says it is unconstitutional for governors-elect to give directives
against incumbent governors.

Recall that the Imo State Governor-elect, Owelle Rochas Okorocha ordered
that the state government account  be frozen, while Senator Abiola Ajimobi,
Oyo State governor-elect spoke on the payment of minimum wage.

Mr Adoke, in a statement issued in Abuja said such actions were illegal and
capable of causing breakdown of law and order as well as political instability.
