Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - An opinion poll conducted by Nigeria's largest research company, TNS-RMS, favours President Goodluck Jonathan of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win the 9 April presidential election with 66% of the votes.
TNS-RMS Chief Executive Officer Adeola Tejumola announced the outcome of the opinion poll to journalists in Lagos Monday, saying it was based on a sampling of 15,124 respondents from 18 years above.
He said the main opposition Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) candidate Nuhu Ribadu would score 6% of the votes; another candidate from the opposition Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Muhammadu Buhari, 18% and Ibrahim Shekarau of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), 3%.
