Nigeria: Greek Freighter Officers Freed

A Ukrainian captain and Greek chief engineer of a Greek freighter ship have been released after being captured by an armed gang at the Nigerian port of Onne in January, the Greek coastguard announced, AFP reported Feb. 11. The two are at a Nigerian naval base and are doing well, though they will be taken to the hospital for tests, the coastguard spokesman added.
