PDP chief Mohammed may head Jonathan campaign team 

The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed, may be announced as the Director-General of the party’s 2011 presidential campaign organisation today.

President Goodluck Jonathan dissolved the Goodluck/Sambo campaign organisation, headed by Dr. Dalhatu Tafida at the weekend.

The President, in his speech, at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, thanked Tafida and his group.

He said the party leadership would now conduct the presidential campaigns.
