15 Feared Dead In Fresh Jos Crisis

JOS, the Plateau State capital, was again thrown into confusion at the weekend following clashes between Hausa youths and students of the University of Jos

It was gathered that the students went on rampage following a discovery that one of their wounded later died in a hospital.
As a result, they went on rampage, burning property belonging to perceived enemies.

In the process, two filling stations at Farin Gada area of the metropolis were set ablaze. Also burnt was the Sardauna Memorial College, along
Zaria Road
.

Lieutenant Victor Olukoya of the Joint Task Force (JTF) confirmed to The Guardian that two filling stations were set ablaze by the irate youths.
Women at Farin Gada were also said to have embarked on a demonstration, calling for an end to killings.
