Multiple Bomb blasts Rock Kaduna!

A bomb has exploded at the flyover bridge located in kawo, kaduna state. There was also another explosion at headquarters of First mechanized division of the Nigerian army. Corp members were also affected. An eyewitness told elombah.com the NYSC member, whom he knows very well is of the second  batch and should pass out next week is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

UPDATE:

Three separate explosions rocked Kaduna this morning.

According to a reports, the bomber at the Dalet barracks had parked his explosives-laden car by one of the gates and attempted to escape. He was however sighted and shot by soldiers just before the explosives in the car went off. The source claims that there were no other fatalities at the barracks other than the bomber.

Another eyewitness however said he saw three dead bodies been taken away from the scene.

A second bomb went near the complex of the headquarters of the 1 Mechanized Division of the Nigerian Army, and a third at the Nigeria Airforce Base. Military personnel have sealed off all access to the two formations.

Meanwhile Nigeria and three of her neighbours, Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic, have sealed a security pact that will help to curtail the menace of the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
