Bombs exploded in Suleja, the Niger State town near Abuja, the seat of power, yesterday.

The bombers targeted worshippers at two churches in the town – Christ Embassy and The Triumphant Ministries International Church – during the Sunday Service.

Nobody died from the explosion, which left five people injured. The bomb was believed to have been planted by Boko Haram the deadly sect that was responsible for last year’s bombing in the town and the Christmas Day bombing at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Madalla, also in Niger Delta.

The sect had not taken responsibility for the action, as at press time last night. But the incident followed its style.
