‘Occupy Your Resources’ Protesters Shut Down Port Harcourt

Youths from the Niger Delta region led by former militant leader, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, yesterday took over the streets of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital in a protest  they tagged, “Occupy Your Resources”.

LEADERSHIP observed that the protesters, comprising of members of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Front (NDPSF), and the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF) marched from the administrative headquarters of the NDPVF, located along
Agudama Street
in the Diobu-Line area of the state capital, through the ever-busy
Aba Road
to the Mile One Fly-Over.
