All the members of the National Assembly, NASS, are right now being bussed to Aso Rock for an emergency meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan. Members were summoned to the villa as President Jonathan panics as security situation in Nigeria worsens coupled with the moves by the Northern members
of NASS to pass a vote of No confidence on the President.

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday escaped the angst of Nigeria’s lawmakers at the Upper Legislative Chamber due to his "lasse vaire attitute" to the worsening security situation and the kid glove treatment deployed in handling the radical Islamist sect, Boko Haram which has claimed responsibility for bomb attacks that have claimed hundreds of lives in the Northeastern part of the country.

The emergency meeting with both the senators and members of the House of Reps was ostensibly summoned to explain the rationale behind the removal of subsidy on petroleum products. But a top member of the National Assembly confided to elombah.com a few minutes ago that they were being taken to the villa as a fallout of yesterday's aborted vote of no confidence move.
