Chevron provides support to 400 communities in the Niger Delta

Chevron Nigeria says it has been working in over 400 Niger Delta communities on development projects since it signed the Global Memorandum of Understanding GMOU with communities in the area.

22 projects worth over N482 million financed by the company were inaugurated on Thursday in the communities
located in Brass and Southern-Ijaw local government areas of Bayelsa.

Femi Odumabo , General Manger, Policy, Government and Public Affairs said in Yenagoa on Friday in a message to the 2nd Annual General Meeting of the KEFFES Rural Development Foundation (RDF), that the arrangement had
brought peace and prosperity to the area.
