Again, the Bayelsa state governor Timipre Sylva failed to secure the clearance
of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to participate in the forthcoming
governorship primaries of the party slated for November 19.
The party cleared three more candidates on Wednesday with the name of the
governor still missing from the new list.
The publicity secretary of PDP, Prof. Rufai Alkali hinted that the door is not yet
closed against the governor and others saying the review is still ongoing until
“all issues are settled.”
Warning Bayelsa PDP against division, Alkali urged “all our members in
elements to cause division within their ranks.’’
