The Federal Government on Tuesday submitted name of the new chairman and other members of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to the Senate for approval and confirmation.
Senate President, Senator David Mark read a memo containing the names of the NDDC nominees to Senators on Tuesday.
The memo written by President Goodluck Jonathan requested the Senate to confirm the nominees in accordance with the provisions of Section 5(3) of the NDDC Act.
