According to police, the suspects are under severe interrogation to ascertain if they had any link with the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

The Moment gathered that the suspects told the police that they were in Lagos to preach Islam to the people of Lagos State, adding that they were members of Dawal-Teblik Islamic sect.

Although, the Police is yet to verify whether the Teblik group has any link with the Boko Haram sect, the arrest of 22 of their members, it was learnt, could be a proactive measure by the police to gather further intelligence.

It would be recalled that the dreaded sect had allegedly issued a threat a month ago that it would bomb the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
