Abductors of Edo PDP Chieftain Demand N100 Million Ransom

The kidnappers of Edo State chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Elder Tes Soare, are demanding a whooping sum of N100 million according to a family source yesterday in Benin.

The source said the demand was made through phone by the kidnappers a day after Soare's daughter was shot and is in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital.

Recall that Soare who was abducted by unknown gunmen, who trailed him from the church last Sunday They fired shots at his jeep at the entrance into his residence located on Edo textile

, killed his two police orderlies, his wife and a driver.

Reacting to the incident yesterday, Edo PDP Chief, Dan Orbih, said it was matter of grave concern that innocent citizens were no longer free to move about the state without threats of being abducted.
