NDDC registers youths for employment

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has begun registration of youths and middle-aged adults in Cross River State for employment and training purposes.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the exercise would cover male and female youths from the age of 18 years and middle-aged adults not older than 45 years.

It will also involve all the 18 local government areas of the state.

A member of the NDDC team conducting the registration told NAN in Calabar that the exercise involved both the skilled and unskilled, but that, it was voluntary for any interested individual.

The member who asked for anonymity, explained that the registration, was to enable NDDC have a data bank of all those that fall within that range in the state.
