Leading Nigerian industrialist and President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko
Dangote and four other Nigerians were on Friday co-opted into the Federal
Government Economic Management Team constituted by President Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan.
Other new members of the team are: the Managing Director of Access Bank,
Mr. Aigboje Aig Imoukhuede, Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service,
Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru and the President of the Manufacturers
Association of Nigeria
The Economic Management Team headed by President Jonathan himself
constitutes the hub of his administration’s economic policy while another high-
powered 15-member Economic Implementation Committee headed by the
Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi
Okonjo-Iweala would oversee the effective implementation of decisions of the
Economic Management Team.
