Bayelsa: 3 Killed in Cult Clash
Three persons, including a physically challenged, were shot dead in a renewed rival cult clash in Bayelsa state, just as Governor Timipre Sylva, yesterday led ex-militant leaders in the state to celebrate two years of the amnesty programme and peace in the Niger Delta region.
Even as the Governor was exhorting the ex-militant leaders to protect the existing peace at all cost due to the pains and cost at which it was achieved, there was a renewed fear of insecurity among residents of the state capital, Yenagoa following another round of cult related killings in the state.
