The Commander, 13 Brigade, Obubra, Cross River Brigadier General Shehu Yusuf, has charged ex-militants in the Niger Delta to respect their oath of allegiance and loyalty to the Federal Government.

The Brigade Commander gave the charge at the passing out ceremony of the 16th batch of 1,500 ex-militants trained on non-violence transformation at the post amnesty camp.

The batch was part of the original 20,192 ex-militants being trained in Obrubra by the Foundation for Ethnic Harmony in Nigeria (FEHN), an NGO and lead trainer under the amnesty programme.

``You are all aware of the rigours we have gone through involving yourself and the federal government to be able to sustain this programme.

`` In this light, I would like to urge you to ensure that all the aspects of discipline and training that you have learnt while you have been here in this camp are taken with you wherever you go.
