Leadership
19 July 2011

A pressure group, the Niger Delta Ethnic Coalition, NDEC, has passed a vote of confidence on the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC , Mr. Chibuzor Ugwoha and warned "any cabal bent on distracting or removing him from office to refrain from such moves as they are bound to fail".

Addressing newsmen yesterday in Benin City on what the group called moves to truncate the development of the Niger Delta region, its chairman Mr. Eisemi Yiki said "we shall name and expose this cabal and their foot soldiers in the nearest future, because in two years under Ugwoha, the NDDC has impacted more on the lives of Niger Deltans and therefore, deserves support and commendation".
