GEJ Wants More Pay For NSA; Senate Cuts Overhead by 40%

ABUJA, July 12, (THEWILL) - President Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday asked the Senate to approve an upward review of the salaries and allowances of the Chief Economic Adviser and the National Security Adviser (NSA).

He wants their pay to be at par with Ministers.

The Senate also confirmed the reduction of the overhead cost of running their affairs by 40 percent in compliance with the National Assembly's earlier promise to reduce the cost of governance.
