Ondo state governor Dr Olusegun Mimiko has dissolved the state’s Executive
Council at an emergency meeting held today with cabinet members and
"We need to take this decision, which is a way of general audit and re-
construction. This is an exercise that any organisation must do from time to
time in order to re-energise and move forward. I want to assure you all that
this exercise is not to scare anybody and very soon, we shall reconstitute the
State Executive Council.” Mimiko assured.
The governor has directed the outgoing commissioners and aides to handover to Permanent Secretaries in their ministries.
