Supporters of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday trooped to
the Akwa Ibom State
Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Uyo.
The Tribunal presided over by Justice Adam Onun had early in the day struck out
the petition by the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) challenging the victory of
Akpabio in the April governorship poll.
