Nigeria Backs Harare - Envoy:

ACTING Nigerian ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr Yakubu Sanusi says his country supports Zimbabwe's stance against imperialism and called for increased business co-operation between the two countries.

Nigeria, as one of Africa's powerhouses, Mr Sanusi said, would stand by Zimbabwe in socio-political issues that were being undermined by Britain and her allies.

Mr Sanusi made the remarks at an inauguration of the executive of the Nigerian community in Zimbabwe, last week. He urged Nigerians resident in the country to show their support to Zimbabwe by quashing the negative reports the country was getting from its detractors since they "are accommodated well in this country and their business activities are going smart."
