MEND vows to resume attacks on oil installations

Port Harcourt (WorldStage Newsonline)-- The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), on Wednesday through an email statement insisted that it would resuming attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta.

It had suspended on April 2, because of the general elections.

Spokesman, Jomo Gbomo, declared that the fresh statement was in view of the doubt expressed by the Joint Task Force (JTF), on the authenticity of its earlier statement.
