A petition has been sent to the Rivers State Police Command over the alleged gruesome murder of a member of Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Front (NDPSF), a group championing the enthronement justice and development of the impoverished but oil-rich region.
The group in a statement by its General Secretary, Mark Olise, and Assistant General Secretary, Barifagha Ikurutie, decried the dastard killing of one Solomon Peters at Okpoma 1 in Ahoada Council of state.
They implored the Police to probe the killing to unearth the circumstances surrounding his death as the perpetrators were stalking the community and could wreak more havoc.
