Delta, U.S. Agree on Infrastructure, Economic Development
United States of America (USA) has pledged to partner with Delta State government in accelerating the growth of infrastructure and economic development in the state.
The USA Consular General in Nigeria, Mr. Joseph Stanford, disclosed this when he visited the Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, in Asaba.
The envoy described Delta State as important in the scheme of things and will therefore ensure economic cooperation between his country and the state.
Stanford, who said he was on advocacy and orientation visit, stressed that his country was already cooperating with the Delta State government in the health sector through the USAID assisted hospital in Warri and expressed the hope that cooperation on other areas would thrive well.
