Cross River windstorm victims get government succour

Over 200 victims of the recent Ekori windstorm disaster which pulled down houses have received relief materials from the Cross River State government. These included mattresses, roofing sheets, cement and nails.

Presenting the materials to the chairman of Yakurr local government council, Ubi Itam Etta, at Ekori Primary School I, the director-general of Cross River State Emergency Management Agency, Vincent Aquah, said the gesture was to make life bearable for the victims.
