20,000 Civil Defense Personnel for Bauchi, Kaduna Polls

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) says it has redeployed 20,000 more of its men to monitor and provide security in today's election in Bauchi and Kaduna states.

Civil Defense Commandant General, Prof. Ade Abodurin made this known yesterday in Abuja while briefing officers and men of the corps at the Civil Defense headquarters.

Abodurin said the corps decided to send 10,000 more personnel to each of the states following the violence witnessed by the two states after the presidential election last week.
