Fund for Peace (Washington , DC )
3 March 2011
We recently conducted an early warning workshop in Port Harcourt , Nigeria to discuss conflict pressures as the 2011 elections approach. To read the most recent findings from the data collected by the UNLocK civil society network in Nigeria , please click on the link below. This report covers events and issues during the period between August and November 2010, focusing on the Niger Delta region. This was a four-month period of high tension, as the militants became more active and politics became more dangerous.
This report was produced with the assistance of the Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The report may be read online in flash format or downloaded in PDF format.
