Isoko Community Restates Stand On 72-Hour Ultimatum to Agip

PEOPLE of Idheze community, Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, yesterday, restated their commitment to the 72- hour ultimatum it issued on the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC), to comply with the Mamoradum of Understanding, MOU, it entered with the community from 2008-2011 or close down its facilities in the land.

President General of the community, Mr. Reuben .A. Uyeye, who addressed newsmen, said the peaceful demonstration by the women against the company was to press home their demands and to get the company to listen to their demands, lamenting that; "Agip has made several empty promises."
