Training: NDDC calls for entries  

BENIN CITY - The Edo State Commissioner on the board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Donald Igiede Omorodion, has called on all well-meaning and qualified Edo state indigenes to apply for the NDDC International Welding Training Programme intended to train Welding Inspectors up to the International Institute of Welding standard.

A statement signed by the Special Assistant to the commissioner, Mr. Romanus Woghiren in Benin City yesterday indicates that the training programme which is in collaboration with the Nigerian Institute of Welding (NIW) will be conducted overseas in strict adherence to international best practice, adding that it is in line with the Commission’s initiative to build capacity in welding skills in the Niger Delta region.
