The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Goodsday Orubebe, has commended oil gaint Chevron PLC for its corporate social responsibility initiatives in Egbema/Gbaramatua and Ugbrodo, all Warri Southeast communities of Delta State
However, he added: "I will still ask Chevron to open their books and do more."
Representatives of the communities and the Chevron team led by its General Manager, Operations, Jide Ajide, who were in Abuja, had visited the ministry to seek a peace resolution to the requests of the host communities.
