THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State has disclosed that it registered no less than 2.2 million persons during the voter registration.

As the exercise ended yesterday, the process was devoid of the initial rush that characterised it at inception three weeks ago.

When The Guardian visited a registration unit off Olu Obasanjo, there were less than 10 persons waiting to be registered. One of them, Mr. Ikechukwu Ozumba, explained that it took less than seven minutes to be registered.
