Jonathan tasks new adviser on N/Delta

President Good luck Jonathan, Monday, tasked the new Special Adviser on the Niger Delta, Mr. Kingsley Kuku to cooperate with all stakeholders in the process of developing the region.

Specifically, he challenged the new aide to work with key stakeholders, including state governments, multi-national, donor agencies, and people of the area in the discharge of his duties.

Jonathan also charged  Kuku to play the role of a bridge-builder, in order to bring development, peace and youth empowerment to the area.

President Jonathan, who spoke at swearing-in at the Special Adviser at State House, said, “your key role is to be a bridge-builder, using your knowledge to bring development of infrastructure, peace and youth empowerment to the area.”

He added that peace was critical to development, advising the new Special Adviser to cultivate good working relationship with governments in the Niger Delta,youths and companies operating in the region.
