President Goodluck Jonathan Thursday declared that the Federal Government is aware of the security challenges facing Plateau State , saying government is working hard to tackle the situation. He however assured that Plateau will rise and be vibrant again.
Jonathan, who gave this assurance at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos, where he flagged off his presidential campaign for the April polls , also noted that his government would not discriminate against any Nigerian irrespective of tribe or religion.
Accompanied by Vice President Namadi Sambo and the Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Halilu Mohammed Bello among others, the President , who recalled that Plateau voted overwhelmingly for him during the PDP primaries, called on the people to keep the tide.
