Twenty Three persons have been arrested with a tanker containing 33,000 litres of fake petroleum products in Asaba, Delta state.
LEADERSHIP SUNDAY gathered that, the fake petroleum products have flooded Asaba and other parts of the state in the recent times resulting in the damage of about six tankers that got burnt beyond recognition.
Reports also said that the state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSDC) arrested the suspects on a tip-off and the help of neighbours who have kept eyes on their illicit activities before they were blown open.
