Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Matters and Coordinator of the Amnesty Programme, Mr. Timi Alaibe , has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Labour Party (LP) in order to actualise his dream of governing Bayelsa State .
The Special Adviser and some of the other governorship aspirants in the party were said to have moved over to the Labour Party following allegations of manipulations and irregularities that characterised the ongoing aspirants’ screening exercise going on in the state .
A spokesman for Timi Alaibe Campaign Organisation and House of Assembly aspirant, Mr. Akininika Richard, said the screening exercise did not follow due process.
