Statistician Calls For Re-orientation In Niger Delta

ASABA -A statistician and official of Nigerian Statistical Association, Mr. Fidelis Adaka, has called for a re-orientation of the Niger Delta people, to achieve meaningful development.

Adaka told newsmen in Asaba, that that it had become necessary to focus the people towards contributing to the development of the region.

He said both the rich and the poor, the elderly and the youth should be involved and should know that development of the oil-rich region should not be left for oil companies and relevant agencies alone.

He stressed that change in the attitude of people of the area was crucial in attracting investors since the security of investment was paramount to any investor.
