The Joint Military Task Force (JTF) has denied the involvement of its officers in oil bunkering in the Niger Delta region.
The media coordinator of JTF, Lt. Col Timothy Antigha, while reacting to statements credited to some national newspapers (Daily Sun not included) and national television stations, alleging that senior military officers lobby to be posted to the Niger Delta because they want to be involved in oil bunkering, explained that the security outfit has never been and would not be a platform for the perpetration of illegal bunkering in the Niger Delta”
