THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed February 25 for re-run election in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in Imo State.

The state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof. Selina Omagha Oko, disclosed this on Monday while addressing a stakeholders’ meeting, including political parties and their candidates for the polls at the Ahiazu-Mbaise Council headquarters.

The
Appeal Court
sitting in Owerri nullified the polls and ordered fresh election.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the polls, Chidi Ibe, had challenged the election of Ralph Igbokwe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
