Boko Haram Distributes Propaganda leaflets in Kano       

The Islamists group known as  Boko Haram has upped their propaganda efforts in Northern Nigeria by urging residents of the city of

 Kano to “persevere” as the group attacks the country’s security services, in leaflets distributed around the city.

Boko Haram has previously claimed to have popular support in the north.

"Poor people are tired of the injustice, people are crying for saviours and they know the messiahs are Boko Haram", Spokesman Qaka said in a newspaper interview.
