Soldiers and mobile policemen yesterday began to evacuate northerners from Edo State following the fears of reprisal attacks on them over perceived attacks on southerners in the north by the Boko Haram sect.
It was learnt that northerners resident in places such as Ring Road,
Sakponba Road
and Aduwawa area of Benin, the state capital, had been evacuated to army and police barracks for safety.
