PRESS RELEASE: BAYELSA: PDP Sets Up National Campaign Committee - In the aftermath of the name omission of Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, from the Bayelsa State gubernatorial list released two days ago by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the concrete steps taken by the national leadership of the party to get INEC to reverse it, the party has gone a step further to constitute a national campaign committee to flag off its gubernatorial campaign in Bayelsa State.
Among the list of names announced by the national leadership of the party to serve in the committee are top chieftains of the party in Bayelsa State comprising personalities such as the Obanema of Opume Kingdom, HRH King A.J Turner, former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC), Mr. Timi Alaibe , former member House of Representatives and one time gubernatorial aspirant, Hon. Kalango Michael Youppele and a former Chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State and currently Director General of the governorship campaign, Chief Frederick Agbedi.
