Boat Mishap - 26 More Bodies Recovered

Port Harcourt — TWENTY six bodies have been recovered at the Mgbuoduhia River around Rumuolumeni area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

It would be recalled that a wooden boat conveying some passengers capsized at about 9pm on Tuesday, in which about forty five occupants of the boat were reportedly missing.

Confirming the recovery, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ben Uguegbulam said the recovered bodies had since been deposited at the morgue.
