Hello customers,

The Sallah holiday of Eid el Kabir is coming up next week Monday and Tuesday, although the Sallah day itself falls on Sunday. We are very much hoping to have a peaceful celebration here in Jos so that we can continue working on the farm without problems. Assuming all is well, we will plan to deliver vegetables as usual to you next week Thursday.

We have been working hard on the farm, preparing new beds, and planting new crops like more courgettes, bok choi, broccoli, French beans, snow peas, sugar snaps, and other items.

The weather in Jos has turned chilly and dry, which is actually very good for most of our crops.

As you know, our grape vines were destroyed by fire last December, and because of the uncertain situation here we have not replanted. We are still deciding about relocation, and are waiting to see if the situation in Plateau will finally stabilize or if more problems are on the way. No location is perfect, but the sort of problems we have faced since January last year have been really extraordinarily difficult.

We wish you all a good Sallah holiday. We hope we will have a peaceful one here in Jos.

Thank you all for your patronage, your support, and your lovely comments about our products. We hope we will be able to continue to live up to your expectations.

More farm news next week.

Regards,

Norma
