Hello customers,

We are grateful that we had a peaceful Sallah in Jos, despite our apprehension. On Sunday, the Sallah day, many people stayed indoors, fearful that something would happen. When the day passed without incident, on Monday everyone came out. There were numerous instances of inter-religious cooperation. Muslim and Christian youths in many neighbourhoods organized parties together and socialized as they used to do in the past. We were all happy to see this, and hope that it is a sign of better things to come, even though we know that we have not completely put the crisis behind us.

We managed to have a couple of days off, and are now back on the farm working hard. New things are coming up every day. The weather is quite chilly now, especially at night and early in the mornings, which is good for most of our vegetables. It was about 15 this morning at my house, and no doubt much colder on the farm. So the cold, harmattan season, seems to have arrived.

For next week we should have lovely things for you...
